Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No - rotation runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. The file you upload never leaves your device.
Can I rotate to a custom angle, like 45 degrees?
No, only 90-degree steps. Click the rotate button again to reach 180 or 270 degrees.
Does this rotate every page, or just one?
Every page in the file gets rotated by the same amount. There's no per-page rotation control.
Does rotating reduce PDF quality?
No - pdf-lib just changes each page's rotation flag, it doesn't re-render or recompress the page content.
Do I need Adobe Acrobat or any other software?
No - nothing to install and no account. Upload, rotate, and download.
What's the rotated file called?
Your original filename with -rotated added, like report-rotated.pdf.
