Handwritten Note

Handwritten Note turns typed text into a handwritten-style note image with a font, background, and text color you choose, rendered in your browser with no account and no upload.

Type a note, pick a handwriting-style font, and export it as an image - the kind of card people post as a screenshot instead of plain text, for the same reason handwriting reads as more personal than a typed sentence. Everything renders in your browser with html2canvas; what you write is never sent to a server or stored anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Is my note uploaded anywhere?

No - the image is rendered entirely in your browser with html2canvas. What you write never leaves the page.

What fonts are available?

Five handwriting-style fonts - Caveat, Kalam, Patrick Hand, Shadows Into Light, and Indie Flower - loaded from Google Fonts. They're real handwriting-style typefaces, not a font pretending to be one.

Can I change the background and text color?

Yes - it defaults to black background, white text, but both are plain color pickers you can set to anything.

What size does it export at?

The card renders at 2x scale for a sharp result on high-density screens, at whatever size the card itself is on screen - a fixed width sized to read well when posted, with the height following however much you wrote.

Can I use line breaks?

Yes - press Enter for a new line same as any text box; it's preserved exactly in the exported image.
