This tool draws a circular profile photo with a colored ring and curved text banner around the edge - the style used for #OpenToWork and "Hiring" frames on LinkedIn - directly on an HTML canvas in your browser. Your photo is decoded and rendered locally; it's never uploaded anywhere, and the export happens straight off the canvas.
How to use it
- Paste, drag-and-drop, or click to upload a photo.
- Drag the image to position it, and use the zoom slider to resize it inside the circle.
- Set the overlay text, color, arc angle, and font size to match your badge.
- Click "Download Image" to save it, or "Copy to Clipboard" to paste it elsewhere.
Frequently asked questions
Does my photo get uploaded to add the overlay?
No - the circular crop, colored ring, and curved text are all drawn on an HTML canvas inside your browser tab. Your photo is never sent to a server.
What image formats can I upload?
Any image type your browser can decode - JPG, PNG, WebP, and more - via paste, drag-and-drop, or file upload.
Can I change the overlay text and color?
Yes - edit the text (up to 30 characters), pick any ring color, and adjust the arc angle and font size with the sliders.
How do I reposition my photo inside the circle?
Drag the image directly on the canvas to move it, and use the zoom slider to scale it up to 2x.
What size is the exported image?
It exports as an 800x800 pixel circular image, sized for a LinkedIn profile photo.
How do I save the finished image?
Click "Download Image" to save a file, or "Copy to Clipboard" to paste it straight into another app - clipboard copies are always PNG.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes - dragging the photo to reposition it works with touch gestures, not just a mouse.
