Crop Image trims a photo down to a region you draw, directly on an HTML canvas in your browser - no upload, no waiting on a server. Draw a selection, move it, pull its handles to resize from any side, and lock a ratio like 1:1 or 16:9. Alignment guides snap edges to the image center and rule-of-thirds lines while you work.
How to use it
- Paste (Ctrl+V), drag and drop, or click to upload an image.
- Click and drag to draw the area you want to keep.
- Drag inside it to move the selection, or pull a corner / edge handle to resize from that side.
- Optionally lock an aspect ratio and use the alignment guides to line the crop up.
- Click "Apply crop", then download or copy the result.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No - cropping happens on an HTML canvas in your browser. The image file never leaves your device.
How do I select the area to keep?
Click and drag on the image to draw a selection rectangle. You can then drag inside it to move it, or pull the white corner and edge handles to resize it before applying the crop.
Can I lock the crop to a fixed aspect ratio?
Yes - pick a ratio such as 1:1, 4:3, or 16:9 from the Aspect ratio dropdown. New selections are drawn to that ratio, and resizing an existing selection stays constrained to it too.
What are the alignment lines?
The grid that appears over the image is the rule-of-thirds guide. While you draw, move, or resize a selection it also snaps to the image center and to the third-lines, like a photo editor's smart guides, so it's easy to line a crop up.
Can I redo the selection after applying a crop?
Yes - click 'Start over' to reload the original image and draw a new selection. The applied crop itself can't be undone once you've downloaded it.
What formats can I upload and export?
Upload any common image type - PNG, JPEG, WebP, and more. Downloads keep your original format; the clipboard copy is always a PNG.
Does this work on my phone?
Yes - drawing, moving, and resizing all work with touch gestures, not just a mouse.
