Resize Image

Paste image (Ctrl+V), drag and drop, or click to upload

Resize Image sets a photo to an exact width and height on an HTML canvas, right in your browser - no upload, no waiting on a server. Lock the aspect ratio to resize proportionally, or turn it off to set exact dimensions regardless of the original shape.

How to use it

  1. Paste (Ctrl+V), drag and drop, or click to upload an image.
  2. Enter a new width or height - the other updates to match.
  3. Turn off "Lock aspect ratio" if you need an exact, non-proportional size.
  4. Download the result or copy it straight to your clipboard.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No - resizing happens on an HTML canvas in your browser. The image file never leaves your device.

Will resizing distort my image?

Not with 'Lock aspect ratio' on (the default) - changing width automatically adjusts height to match, and vice versa. Turn it off if you want to stretch the image to exact dimensions.

Can I make an image bigger, not just smaller?

Yes, but enlarging a small image beyond its original size will look softer or blurrier - resizing can't add detail that isn't there.

What formats can I upload and export?

Upload any common image type - PNG, JPEG, WebP, and more. Downloads keep your original format; the clipboard copy is always a PNG.

Does this work on my phone?

Yes - it works the same on any device with a browser, no app required.
